Players to watch out for
Lancashire have signed the Australian marauder Glenn Maxwell. After Australia’s defeat against England in the semi-final, Maxwell decided to continue his stay in England and play for Lancashire in county cricket. Maxwell scored a blistering fifty and also took a four-wicket haul. He will turn up for them in T20s now – the format in which he has hammered over 5,000 runs.
Alongside Maxwell will be his countryman James Faulkner who has taken 214 runs and scored 1,689 runs in the format.

Whether James Anderson will play is not confirmed yet. Given England have a Test next week, he is likely to be rested.
Liam Livingstone, a T20 specialist, will also feature for Lancashire. He has blasted 1,501 runs with a strike rate of 142.
