Players To Watch Out For
Ever since his exploits in the 2019 World Cup, James Neesham’s role as an all-rounder has been taken seriously. He missed the series opener due to injury and his team lost. He came back for the second, and his 22-ball 42 down the order helped New Zealand post a mammoth total and level the series 1-1. Although he went wicketless, he otherwise has a knack of striking at crucial intervals.
Chris Jordan has not only been impressive with the ball but also using the long handle with devastating effect. He blasted 36 off 19 including 3 sixes and as many fours in the second match, reviving England’s hopes. In all he has scalped 5 wickets thus far.
Earlier this year, Ross Taylor scored a brilliant ODI hundred at the Saxton Oval. His scores this series read 44 and 28.
England haven’t been able to figure out Mitchell Satner’s slow left-arm orthodox. He has scalped 6 wickets, giving away runs at 6 RPO.
