KL Rahul is likely to open the innings in the T20I series – a position where he knows how to score runs by hundreds. So majestic he has been in this format that his 1,461 T20I runs have come at an average of 46 and a strike rate of 146. To make matters more interesting, his last 10 T20I innings read 62, 11, 91, 45, 54, 56, 57*, 27, 39, and 45.
Given the kind of strokes he has been playing, Australia might send Glenn Maxwell at any position to dent India’s confidence. He scored 167 runs with a mind-boggling strike rate of 194 in the three-ODI series. Not to forget that he will be the sixth bowling option, scaling up the chances of him bowling his off-spinners in the powerplay.
Virat Kohli averages a whopping 65 against Australia in T20Is. He has scored 6 fifties in 16 matches against them, with the highest score of 90* at Adelaide.
