The Chennai team is all set for an exciting IPL 2025 campaign, with a balanced schedule that features a mix of thrilling home and away encounters. The season kicks off on March 23 with a home match against Mumbai at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium. This high-profile opener will set the tone for Chennai’s season as they aim to make an early statement in front of their passionate home crowd.

Chennai will follow up with another home fixture on March 28 against Bangalore, where they will look to build on their strong start. However, their next game on March 30 will see them travel to Guwahati to face Rajasthan at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, a neutral venue that promises a fresh challenge.

The team then returns to Chennai for their next home match on April 5, when they host Delhi at MA Chidambaram Stadium. This encounter will be crucial for Chennai to maintain their momentum before they travel to Mullanpur on April 8 to take on Punjab at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.

Chennai’s next home fixture comes on April 11 when they welcome Kolkata to Chennai. This match will be a marquee encounter, as Chennai aims to take down one of the tournament’s top teams. Following that, they head to Lucknow on April 14 to face Lucknow at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in what promises to be a tough away encounter.

On April 20, Chennai will travel to Mumbai for a big clash at Wankhede Stadium, where they will look to challenge the defending champions in their home territory. They return home once again on April 25 to face Hyderabad, a crucial match for Chennai’s playoff aspirations.

As May approaches, Chennai will play a series of home and away games. On April 30, they host Punjab once again at MA Chidambaram Stadium. After that, they head to Bengaluru on May 3 to take on Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, a venue where they’ll face a tough battle.

The team will then travel to Kolkata on May 7 to face Kolkata at the iconic Eden Gardens, before returning home for their final home match of the season on May 12 against Rajasthan. This fixture could be a critical one for Chennai’s hopes of making the playoffs.

Chennai’s season concludes on May 18 with an away match against Gujarat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The final stretch will be vital as they look to secure a strong finish to their campaign.

With a solid combination of home fixtures at the historic MA Chidambaram Stadium and a series of tough away games, Chennai will need to be at their best throughout the season to challenge for the IPL 2025 title.
