India vs England Head to Head

We have opted for a fantasy cricket team based on the recent performances, overall impact, and credit points.

Pitch Report

The pitch at Nottingham has always been a featherbed for batters. Both teams scored over 200 runs the last time a T20I was played here.

Teams

Probable XI for England: Jason Roy, Jos Buttler(c & wk), Dawid Malan, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills, Reece Topley, Matthew Parkinson

Probable XI for India: Rohit Sharma (c), Rishabh Pant(w), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel/Umran Malik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar/Avesh Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah

Power Players

Hardik Pandya has collected 99 fantasy points, the most in the series on My11Circle. He has taken 6 wickets and registered two scores above 40 runs in the last five T20Is.

It took two great deliveries to dismiss the in-form Jos Buttler. Not to forget the amount of runs he was smashing against the same bowlers in the Indian T20 League a few weeks ago. If Buttler survives or fortune favours him, India will find it challenging to contain his aggression.

Rishabh Pant seems to ace any role that is offered to him. Opening the batting, he smacked 26 off 15 comprising four fours and a six. His knock was decorated with a few cheeky strokes and the regular rampant hits.

Venue Numbers

Rohit Sharma provided brisk starts in both games, scoring runs at a strike rate of 162. At Trent Bridge, he has the third-most runs: 117 runs at an average of 59 in three games.

Liam Livingstone has not done anything noteworthy in the series yet, but his only hundred in the format has come at the venue: 103 off 43 in a run chase against Pakistan last year.

Smart Picks

Had it not been for Ravindra Jadeja’s fiery knock of 46* off 29, India would not have posted a challenging total. He lifted India from 89 for 5 to 170 for 8. Also given his hundred in the last Test, the English wickets don’t seem to bother him.

Of all the English batters, Moeen Ali has looked the most fluent. He has consecutive scores in 30s and two wickets to his name.

Chris Jordan has provided the most fantasy points (85.5) from the English team. He has pouched 6 wickets, including the four-for in the last games, and has registered the highest score of 26*. For that matter, his last three scores in the English T20 League read 34, 5*, and 73*.

Richard Gleeson dismissed the fantastic trio of Rohit, Pant, and Virat Kohli on his debut. He is reputed for striking consistently in the powerplay at the domestic level.

David Willey has scores of 30 and 33* at No.8 and has managed to take two wickets. His dual skills often make him a smart pick in limited-overs.

Match Preview

India may have already sealed the series, but they will try to play their best XI in order to prepare for the T20 World Cup later this year. England, on the other hand, have not put their best foot forward under the new captain Buttler. Their batters especially have struggled against the disciplined bowling of India.
