Fantasy Cricket Team for England Women vs South Africa Women

We have opted for a fantasy cricket team based on the recent performances, overall impact, and credit points.

England Women vs South Africa Women Pitch Report

In the recently concluded English T20 League, the pitch at Grace Road in Leicester produced a batting beauty, especially in the last two matches. Three out of four innings saw scores in excess of 200.

Probable England & South Africa Teams

Probable XI for South Africa: Andrie Steyn, Laura Wolvaardt, Lara Goodall, Sune Luus (c), Marizanne Kapp, Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, Trisha Chetty (wk), Shabnim Ismail, Ayabonga Khaka, Nonkululeko Mlaba

Power Players for the Match

Despite being new to international cricket, Emma Lamb has inflicted serious damage on South Africa with scores of 102 and 67. She is currently the highest run-getter in the series and will occupy a hot spot in fantasy leagues for the final game as well.

Sophia Dunkley walked away with the Player of the Match award for scoring 107 off 93 balls. She has added 278 runs at 55 in her last 5 ODIs.

With consecutive half-centuries and a four-wicket haul in the first match, Natalie Sciver has been handsomely rewarding fantasy players with both bat and ball. It is also not to be forgotten that she hammered 169* in the one-off Test against South Africa.

Smart Picks for the Match

Charlotte Dean’s four-wicket haul in the second game was instrumental in rattling the South African batting order. She has already bagged 26 wickets at 20.69 in only 15 ODIs.

Although Marizanne Kapp finished as the highest run-scorer (73) for South Africa at Bristol, it was her maiden half-century against England. Nonetheless, she remains a dark horse in fantasy leagues.

Sophie Ecclestone has tasted success against South Africa, especially in the 50-over format. She has 14 wickets to her credit in 7 ODIs, including the best figures of 6 for 36.

Similarly, Tammy Beaumont loves to feast on the South African bowlers. In only 9 innings, she has slammed 3 centuries and 2 fifties.

In her debut game at Bristol, Issy Wong turned out to be the surprise package in fantasy leagues with figures of 6-0-36-3. She played a key role in destroying the South African middle order.

Laura Wolvaardt has got starts in every game on this tour of England, including her gutsy knock of 55 off 48 balls in the last ODI. The tourists will need another substantial contribution from her in the final game.

As we have seen in this series, Chloe Tryon has the ability to generate fantasy points with both bat and ball. She has collected 96 runs, including the highest score of 88. She also grabbed 2 wickets at Bristol.

England Women vs South Africa Women Pitch Report Match Preview

England have played better cricket across departments, owing to which they have already sealed the series and will be the favourites to inflict a whitewash on South Africa. Unless the tourists show more intent with the willow, another drubbing seems inevitable.
