Fantasy Tips of The Day

Meg Lanning is the only player from both teams to feature in the Best11 in five consecutive games, smashing 244 runs at an average of 61.

In her first match at the venue, Jess Jonassen was the captain of the Best11 for scoring 42* off 20 and taking three for 43.

Alice Capsey has provided points in all departments: three wickets, two catches, and a top score of 21.

Marizanne Kapp’s recent form has been splendid. In her last 10 games, she has taken as many wickets and scored 168 runs at 24.

Kim Garth’s five for 36 – her best-ever figures in the format – came at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy.

Since the T20 World Cup, Ashleigh Gardener has scored 154 runs at 26 and taken as many as 14 wickets, making it to the Best11 in seven of nine appearances.

Dayalan Hemalatha has been effective down the order, scoring two unbeaten knocks of 21* off 13 and 29* off 23. In addition to this, she has taken four catches – the second-most this season.

Harleen Deol, the highest run-scorer for Gujarat, averages 26 in the last 10 games.

There, however, is a better in-form player at their disposal: Sophia Dunkley. She has hammered 273 runs at 34, including three fifties and a thirty, in 2023.

Taniya Bhatia’s selection percentage has dropped drastically for a reason. She has taken a mere two catches in her last 10 matches and scored 14 runs in four innings.
