Fantasy Tips for LSG vs Hyderabad Match
We have opted for a fantasy cricket team based on the recent performances, overall impact, and credit points.
Power Players for Lucknow Super Giants vs Hyderabad Match
The fantasy players will face the tough task of selecting one of the trio – KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, and Evin Lewis – as their power player tonight. While de Kock and Lewis have already collected a fifty this season, Rahul’s 40 against Chennai came at a strike rate of 148.
Jason Holder’s inclusion is a relief for the world of fantasy sports than Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Bowling in the powerplay as well as at the death amplifies his chances of picking more wickets.
Smart Picks for Lucknow Super Giants vs Hyderabad Match
Deepak Hooda has been in splendid form in T20 cricket since 2020, especially making headlines with his six-hitting adventures. His strike rate in the last three seasons read 139.
Although Aiden Markram has not been living up to his standards in longer formats, his T20 numbers are impressive. His innings against Rajasthan was no surprise: his 32 off 52 runs came in boundaries and amidst fall of wickets. Although he did not get to bowl, he has a knack for trapping big fish with his part-time off-spinners.
Kane Williamson may not fetch you fantasy points with his strike rate, but he has maintained an average of 44 since 2020 in the Indian T20 League. His role will be to hold the innings together, making him one of the safest picks in fantasy cricket.
Nicholas Pooran has struggled against wrist-spin in the league, and to his dismay, he will face Ravi Bishnoi tonight. His two wickets included the warhorses Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu. That being said, there’s no margin for error against Pooran: his sheer power and sharp bat swing can send even a mistimed shot over the boundary.
Washington Sundar recovered the damage he incurred with the ball (0 for 47 in 3 overs) by smashing 40 off 14. Given LSG’s two of four top-order batters are left-handers, Sundar is likely to bowl his off-spinners in the powerplay.

Match Preview
Hyderabad’s loss in their opening game made them look more ordinary than they actually are. Despite the loss, the runs from the bats of Markram and Sundar was a good sign of what’s to come. On the other hand, LSG were involved in two close games – one of which was an incredible chase of 211 runs and the other was a series of blunders. However, LSG look more balanced on paper, while Hyderabad are likely to take time to find their feet.
