Fantasy Tips of The Day

Since Mohammad Siraj’s debut, Mohammad Shami and he have taken wickets at an impressive strike rate of 25. To put things into perspective, they hunt down an average of four wickets (100 fantasy points) between them per game.

Kuldeep Yadav will be itching to bowl at the venue. He has taken three three-wicket hauls in as many games – one of which was a hat-trick.

Mitchell Marsh likes piling on runs on such batting-friendly pitches. The fact that he averages 32 in subcontinent conditions in a format such as T20I is evidence to the fact. To a good extent, he translated the same in the first ODI.

Talking of subcontinent pitches, Travis Head especially has had a great time since 2022. In his last six matches, he has hammered 315 runs at an incredible average of 53.

Virat Kohli made it to the Best11 in five of six games at the venue, scoring three hundreds and two fifties.

Rohit Sharma too has venue numbers in his favour. His top scores read 159, 90*, and 70.

Since 2021, Mitchell Starc has sniped up 30 wickets in a mere 12 ODIs.

KL Rahul’s match-winning performance in the series opener did not come as a surprise. At No.5, he has collected 733 runs at an average of 56 and a strike rate of 100.

Adam Zampa’s success percentage in India reads 79. He has taken 27 wickets with an economy of just under 6 RPO.

In the last three games at the venue, spinners accounted for 48% of the wickets and all four hundreds were hammered by the top three batters.
