The India versus South Africa T20I saw some interesting new faces like Temba Bavuma, Anrich Nortje, and Bjorn Fortuin. However, this report is not about them. The players that stood out at the second T20I at Mohali were David Miller and Virat Kohli. Their dives to catch the ball with one hand went viral on all possible social media platforms. There are clips of it that is circulating and it has left cricket fans as well as others speechless.

In the 12th over, Virat Kohli, an Indian skipper, sprinted from mid-off field and dived to catch a one-handed blinder. That stunning feat dismissed Quinton de Kock. You can watch the catch on loop. Kohli stretched his hands all out and fixed his gaze on the ball. He did not lose sight of it till it was in his left hand. In those few seconds, he made sure that the ball did not pop out and touch the ground. This sent the crowd into a frenzy as Kohli pumped his fist with excitement. It was an excellent show of athletics by the skipper.

Talking about catches, Ravindra Jadeja displayed a stunning catch in the same over. He took out the new batsman Rassie van der Dussen with a jump to his right.

However, the highlight of the match was David Miller’s catch that left Kohli flabbergasted. It also felt like déjà vu for the Indian team. In the 12th over of India’s innings, the opener Shikhar Dhawan was batting on 40 runs, slammed the ball by Tabraiz Shamsi. This is when Miller saw an opportunity, ran towards the ball and dived to his right to catch a blinder in one hand. It was a sensational catch that even Kohli could not deny.

In spite of this, India was no match for the visitors. India won by seven wickets and is leading the three-match series with 1-0. Stay tuned for these stellar cricketing moments. The Men in Blue are set to play South Africa in the final T20I on Sunday in Bengaluru, so form your fantasy teams for it.
