Fantasy Tips

We have opted for a fantasy cricket team based on the recent performances, overall impact, and credit points.

Fantasy Cricket Team for IND vs SL

Power Players

India will depend on Rohit Sharma for a quick start in the powerplay. He has played two T20Is at Dharamsala with scores of 1 and 105. In fact, it was only his second single-digit score in the last 10 T20I innings. He has been in good form otherwise.

We might continue to see Ravindra Jadeja bat at No. 4 as indicated by the Indian think-tank. Furthermore, his ability to pick wickets and create an impact on the field makes him a hot pick in fantasy leagues.

Pathum Nissanka has been Sri Lanka’s best batter lately. He might not accelerate in the beginning, but he averages 37 in his last 7 outings.

Smart Picks

Dasun Shanaka might not be consistent with the willow. That said, we saw his six-hitting ability in the previous game. He is also capable of rolling his arm over. He dismissed Ishan Kishan in the opening game.

Sanju Samson can dazzle to deceive. However, on his day, he can make six-hitting look easy, especially down the ground. With Ishan Kishan’s injury, Sanju is the frontrunner to keep wickets.

For his match-winning 74* off 44 balls, Shreyas Iyer was adjudged the Player of the Match. He should be feeling confident about his prospects at No. 3, especially after consecutive fifties

Sri Lanka will depend on Dushmantha Chameera for early wickets. Given how the visitors have limited spin-bowling options, the onus will be on the speedster.

Whether he bowls first or second, Jasprit Bumrah rarely goes wicketless. His economical spell also helps in adding useful fantasy points.

Yuzvendra Chahal is just five wickets away from becoming the highest T20I wicket-taker against Sri Lanka.

Niroshan Dickwella is the favourite to keep wickets in Chandimal’s absence. He can also be promoted to open the innings, in search of quick runs.

Key Battle

Chameera has dismissed Rohit 5 times in T20Is, conceding 32 runs in 26 balls. It will be interesting to see how this battle unfolds in the last game of the series.
