Game Changers
Be it with the bat, ball, or sheer brilliance on the field, Fabien Allen can make a huge difference in fantasy leagues. Besides picking 2 wickets, he also collected 138 runs in the recently concluded Sixty League, including a 33-ball 82 (9 sixes) in the final. Talk about peaking at the right time.
Whether it is to contain and pick wickets towards the end of the innings or slog a few into the stands as a pinch-hitter, Dwaine Pretorius is capable of doing it all.
Smart Picks
Dominic Drakes was one of the finds of the tournament in 2021. He bagged 16 wickets in 11 games at an impressive average of 20. In times of need, he can also use the long handle to good effect.
Kennar Lewis is known for his six-hitting ability. In the previous season, he launched 20 sixes while accumulating 262 runs in 10 innings. Anything with the gloves will be a bonus.
Andre Fletcher is expected to blow hot and cold since his job is to accelerate in the powerplay. As a wicketkeeper, he has inflicted the second-most dismissals in the history of the tournament: 55 catches and 13 stumpings.
Much like Fletcher, Brandon King too will be focused on getting quick runs on the board at the top of the order. His recent scores in the format read 68, 20, 13, and 53.
Dewald Brevis might have experienced a rough time with the bat in the Sixty League, but we know what he is capable of. Remember a few blazing knocks that he played for Mumbai in the Indian T20 league?
Migael Pretorius also shot to fame in the previous edition. By bagging 16 wickets in 10 games, he finished as the fifth-highest wicket-taker.
Rovman Powell is always going to be a threat with the bat. He got scores of 32, 11, 35, and 5 at Warner Park in the Sixty League. Before that, he had added 66 runs in 3 T20Is against New Zealand.
Power Players
All eyes will be on Evin Lewis who amassed 426 runs at 47 to finish as the second-highest run-getter in 2021. In the process, he also smashed the most sixes (38) for the tournament.
In all the 6 games that Dwayne Bravo featured in the ongoing 100, he never went wicketless. When he last bowled against Jamaica at Warner Park in 2021, he ended up with a 3 for 25. He also happens to be the highest wicket-taker ever (114) in the history of the Caribbean T20 league.
Fantasy Tip of The Day
Both teams have explosive openers and quality all-rounders in their ranks. They could end up generating the bulk of the fantasy points in the opening game.
