Fantasy Tips of The Day
Mayank Agarwal finished the recently concluded Indian First-Class Trophy as the leading run-getter (990 at 83), including the highest score of 249. Given his consistency, he featured in the Best11 in four of his last five matches.
In the same competition, Sudip Kumar Gharami (803 at 50) and Abhimanyu Easwaran (798 at 67) were amongst the top run-scorers for Bengal. Both slammed three centuries each.
On the bowling front, Akash Deep was the highest wicket-taker (41), including three five-fors for Bengal. He hasn’t gone wicketless for seven consecutive games.
For Madhya Pradesh, Avesh Khan emerged as the top wicket-taker (38), including the best innings figures of seven for 38.
Madhya Pradesh will rely on Shubham Sharma and Rajat Patidar for a strong display with the bat. While Shubham accumulated 599 runs at 47, Patidar collected 565 runs at 47 and took the most catches (11) for the season.
Besides inflicting 28 dismissals with the gloves, Himanshu Mantri added 582 runs, including the highest score of 159 in his last seven First-Class games.
Yash Dhull hasn’t been able to convert his starts into anything substantial, owing to which he averages only 21 in his last eight innings.
