Fantasy Tips of The Day

Kasun Rajitha hasn’t gone wicketless for 15 straight ODIs and is the only player from either side to feature in the Best11 (11 wickets) for five consecutive ODIs.

Tom Latham enjoys playing at the Hagley Oval. In 11 games at the venue, he has collected 366 runs at 52, including two centuries, and inflicted 12 dismissals.

Lately, Chamika Karunaratne’s dual ability has kept fantasy players in good stead. In addition to picking eight wickets, he has added 118 runs and grabbed two catches in his last five ODIs.

Matt Henry has taken 12 wickets in Christchurch – of which 10 have come bowling first.

Besides inflicting 16 dismissals since 2022, Kusal Mendis has accumulated 426 runs at 36, including the highest score of 87*.

Although Lahiru Kumara can be wayward and expensive, he has the ability to strike at regular intervals, which is evident by the fact that he has picked 14 wickets, including four consecutive two-fors, in his last 10 ODIs.

It has been a very productive time for Will Young at home in the format: 262 runs at 66, including two centuries.

For the year, Glenn Phillips has added 194 runs, including a fifty and three thirty-plus scores. Aside from his batting skills, he has picked two wickets and held onto as many catches.

Wanindu Hasaranga hasn’t picked a wicket in his last four ODIs.
