Fantasy Tips of The Day
It has been a dream year thus far for Ihsanullah, who has bagged 28 wickets in only 15 professional T20s. Moreover, he was the leading wicket-taker (six) in his debut T20I series against Afghanistan.
Adam Milne has taken the most wickets (15) by a Kiwi bowler against Pakistan. More importantly, his recent form has been handsomely rewarding fantasy players, taking 17 wickets in his last 10 outings.
In 2023, Daryl Mitchell has accumulated 183 runs at 46 including two fifties. When he last batted against Pakistan in the format, he blasted 53*.
For Pakistan, Babar Azam (412 runs at 46) and Mohammad Rizwan (276 at 31) are the leading run-getters against New Zealand. While Babar has the highest score of 87* at the Gaddafi Stadium, Rizwan’s best effort reads 104*.
Meanwhile, Haris Rauf (14) and Shadab Khan (11) have taken the most wickets versus New Zealand. In Lahore, they have hunted down 52 wickets in Lahore between them.
Since making his white-ball debut earlier this year, Henry Shipley has scalped 13 wickets in seven outings, generating an average of 47 points per game. His ability to generate a disconcerting bounce at regular intervals has left the best struggling.
Having played in the previous edition of Pakistan T20 League (87 runs and six wickets), James Neesham will have a few tricks up his sleeve.
Such has been Imad Wasim’s consistency (414 runs at 138 and seven wickets) that he featured in the Best11 for 10 consecutive T20s.
Seamers took 69% of the wickets in the last three games at the venue.
