Fantasy Tips of The Day

Dinesh Chandimal has been Sri Lanka’s top run-getter since 2022. He has smashed two centuries and five half-centuries in eight matches to aggregate 899 runs.

During this period, Angelo Mathews and Dimuth Karunaratne have combined to score 1556 runs. At the venue, they average 44 and 50, respectively.

Under Karunaratne, Dhananjaya de Silva has been generating fantasy points one way or the other. He has scored 1601 runs at 46 and scalped 24 wickets in as many matches, while also grabbing 31 catches.

Prabath Jayasuriya has been sensational at the Galle in his young career: 29 wickets in just six innings.

In the only Test Andy McBrine played, he scored 91 runs and picked up seven wickets.

Lorcan Tucker did well to negate the threat of Bangladesh’s spinners earlier this month, scoring 145 runs. Given his ability to counter quality spin, he can be an effective pick.

In the same match, Harry Tector scored fifties in both the innings.

Spinners picked a whopping 75% of the wickets in the last three matches at the venue. Meanwhile, one double-century, three centuries and 10 half-centuries were registered by middle-order batters.
