Fantasy Tips of The Day

Chamari Athapaththu has done it all against Bangladesh: she is the top run-scorer (168 runs at 21 including 20 fours and seven sixes) as well as wicket-taker (10 dismissals).

Inoka Ranaweera has taken 10 wickets against Bangladesh in six matches, including a four-wicket haul in the only clash in Sri Lanka.

Anushka Sanjeewani has scored 100 runs (including 12 fours) at an average of 25 at the venue.

Nilakshi de Silva (89 runs and three catches) and Shamima Sultana (61 runs, two stumpings, and a catch) featured in the Best11 in four of the last five matches.

Jahanara Alam is the highest wicket-taker (eight) versus Sri Lanka. Moreover, around 80% of her wickets have come bowling first.

Since taking over the captaincy, Nigar Sultana has been Bangladesh’s top run-getter: 490 at 29. During this period, she has also given points for six catches and four stumpings.

Since 2022, only Nigar has scored more runs than Murshida Khatun (389 runs at 23). In 19 matches, Murshida has smashed 42 fours.

Nahida Akter went wicketless in the last four T20s. With the bat too, she could not make much impact, scoring a meagre 31 runs.
