Form Concern

Kieron Pollard’s selection percentage in fantasy cricket has taken a hit. He has managed a mere 46 runs at 9 in six games.

Game Changers

Imad Wasim has been chipping in with vital fantasy points consistently with his dual skills. He has two scores in twenties down the order and picked a three-for haul once and two-fors twice.

Sunil Narine, as has been the case, continues to make fantasy leagues interesting. His last two scores read 30 and 26, and not only has he provided points with six wickets at an average of 14 but also generated bonus points for maintaining an economy of under 6 RPO.

Smart Picks

Brandon King has featured in the Ultimate Teams in five of seven games. He has scored 215 runs at a strike rate of 131, including the highest score of 89.

Ravi Rampaul’s best figures (3 for 40) of the season came against Jamaica, of which two wickets came with the new ball. Given he also bowls at the death, he is more likely to be among wickets.

In a mere two games, Akeal Hosein has managed seven wickets and jumped to the top of the wickets column for Trinbago. Not many bowlers can exploit the slow wickets in the Caribbean the way Hosein does.

In a team of inconsistent performers, Colin Munro, Tion Webster, and Nicholas Pooran have scored a fifty each. Of the trio, Munro has been the better performer, registering a single-digit score only once in six games.

After the three-wicket haul against Guyana, we will see a spike in Andre Russell’s selection percentage in the upcoming games. He is not close to his devastating self with the bat, but he has been at least providing points in other departments.

Power Players

In the previous game between these teams, Rovman Powell was the captain of the Ultimate Team on My11Circle for his score of 67 off 49 including six fours and four sixes. With 218 runs at 55, he is the third-highest run-scorer of the season.

Mohammad Amir has picked up 11 wickets in seven games – the second most in the season. He finished with figures of 2 for 14 in the last game against Trinbago.

Raymon Reifer has been one of the hottest picks in fantasy cricket in the last two weeks: he has hammered 172 runs at an incredible average of 43 and grabbed two wickets in the last five games.

Fantasy Tip of The Day

The slow wickets in the Caribbean have made life difficult for the batters. Both sides anyway have depth and variety in their bowling.
