All-rounder Vijay Shankar has been ruled out of World Cup 2019 due to a toe injury.

The second player to get ruled of World cup 2019

Earlier it was Shikar Dhawan and now its all-rounder Vijay Shankar has been ruled out of World Cup 2019 due to a toe injury. Vijay Shankar in a practise session got a hit by a yorker bowled by Jasprit Bumrah. To be noted that he is one of the players who took a wicket in the very first ball of his world cup. As his situation is not great to continue playing the tournament he will return home PTI quoted a senior BCCI official as saying.

Replacement of Vijay Shankar:

It’s been said that Mayank Agarwal is in the likely list of team India management. Being an opener he also can get KL Rahul back to his number 4 spot again is in case Rishabh Pant fails in next couple of games.
