Harare Sports Club Pitch Report for Zimbabwe XI vs South Africa A

Historically the wicket at the Harare Sports Club has favoured the batters. That said, it also tends to slow down as the match progresses. Three out of the last five ODIs at this venue have been won by the teams chasing.

Probable Playing Teams for Zimbabwe XI & South Africa A

Probable XI for Zimbabwe XI: Takudzwanashe Kaitano, Kevin Kasuza, Prince Masvaure, Wesley Madhevere, Sikandar Raza (c), Milton Shumba, Richmond Mutumbami (wk), Donald Tiripano, Wellington Masakadza, Tanaka Chivanga, Tendai Chatara

Probable XI for South Africa A: Tony de Zorzi, Theunis de Bruyn, Reeza Hendricks, Khaya Zondo, Heinrich Klaasen (c & wk), Andile Phehlukwayo, Wihan Lubbe, Jason Smith, Bjorn Fortuin, Gerald Coetzee, Lizaad Williams

Power Players for Zimbabwe XI vs South Africa A

Sikandar Raza lends balance to the side with his dual ability. Besides scoring a brisk 59 in the opening game, he also picked a wicket. In his last three ODI appearances at Harare, he has scored 146 runs. Given his all-round ability, he could be an ideal captain in fantasy leagues.

Donald Tiripano may not have the pace, but his ability to move the ball around can frustrate the batters. His four-wicket haul in the first match should boost his confidence.

Fantasy players can expect runs with the bat and dismissals with the gloves from Henrich Klaasen. The South Africa skipper added 58 runs in the first ODI.

Smart Picks for Zimbabwe XI vs South Africa A

The talented Reeza Hendricks can be extremely inconsistent. He has got only one half-century in his last 10 ODI innings. That said, he has the ability to get quick runs in the powerplay.

Wesley Madhevere can be a handy pick in fantasy cricket. He bats sensibly by rotating the strike in the middle overs and can also contribute with his part-time off-spinners.

Andile Phehlukwayo is neither menacing nor disciplined. However, he has the knack of breaking partnerships. Although he went wicketless in the last game, the all-rounder made amends with the bat by scoring 87.

Once the Harare wicket starts playing slow, spinners Wellington Masakadza and Bjorn Fortuin will come into play. They can even operate with the new ball in the powerplay.

Zimbabwe will bank on the experienced Tendai Chatara for early wickets. He has bagged 29 ODI wickets at Harare.

Not only did Lizaad Williams pick 2 wickets in the last match but also generated bonus fantasy points for maintaining an economy rate of 3.20.

Zimbabwe XI & South Africa A Match Preview

Zimbabwe XI got off to a fantastic start in the three-match ODI series by winning the first game by five runs (D/L) method. That said, with the series on the line, expect a fightback from the spirited South Africans.
